    Equinox 800/Pro-Find 35/Garrett Carrot

    I’ve only gotten to use my new Equinox a couple of times since the purchase so far so good. I ordered the package with the Pro-Find 35. The website said it was in stock. After I placed the order, several days later, I received a phone call stating that the Pro-Find 35 had been out of stock for approximately 6 months and was on back order from MineLab. I was asked if I would accept a “better” pointer. I was told it would be a Garrett and if I wasn’t satisfied I could ship it back and then I could wait for a Pro Find 35 to come back into stock. I’ve had the set up for about 30 days. Both work fine but my OCD twitches every time I pull out the Garrett pointer. Would have given 5 stars if the pointer I ordered would have been in stock like the website said it was. And if I would have known the Pro Find wasn’t in stock ahead of my order I would have just bought the Equinox 800 closer to home.
