One of the most important metal detecting accessories is a pinpointer. Your metal detector will alert you to the location of gold or a relic and a pinpointer will tell you exactly where it is in the ground. When your metal detector alerts you to a target, using a pinpointer on the ground will tell you exactly where the target is, especially if the target is shallow. As you dig the hole to find your gold or treasure, use the pinpointer in the hole to be sure you’re digging in the right direction. Pairing your metal detector and pinpointer with a composite shovel lets you use your pinpointer to scan every scoop you remove from the hole to be sure you haven’t cast the target aside.
