Hand selected by prospectors. Heavy duty ridged carpet catches find gold extremely well. Rigid rubber backing prevents gold from escaping through the carpet. Three raised fiber ridges of followed by 1/2" of lower lying fiber carpet for fine gold to accumulate make this carpet a perfect sluice box matting for catching find gold by itself or use it as a lower layer beneath riffles, miners moss, or expanded metal.

It was cut perfect. and for a moss box set up it works great for catching the small stuff. As alway High plains had exactly what I needed to get the shiny!

This stuff catches as much if not more fine gold than miners moss and is a lot easier to clean up I used to run the old stuff in my keene sluices and these raised ridges I think helps catch a little more than the old carpet matting but this stuff's way better than than miners Moss if you're going after fine gold.
