Minelab Vanquish V8 Double-D Search Coil 8″

I purchased the MineLab 540 with 12inch coil then I ordered the 8inch coil and I guess that I like the 12inch coil better, I also purchased an extra Garrett metal dector pointer because I had problems with the MineLab pointer it buzzed (vibrated) but no sound the MineLab pointer is kinda wonkee. Yes I do like the MineLab over my old White MXT that MineLab is so simple to use, the fault is that the controls box is not waterproof but other than that its an amazing piece of equipment. Now for the lighter side, the reason I ordered from HIGHPLAINS is that one of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies was HighPlains Drifter so now you know, and I. believe they treated me well

This should work great in trashy areas!

This coil seems to discriminate better at depth. It feels more accurate but it's also takes more time to scan an area. Great for parks, not so great for the beach.

Used it today and worked really well. Found an old bullet 6-8 ins deep 😀
