Black ribbed vinyl matting added to your sluice gives instant recognition to see the presence of gold without needing to clean the sluice. This product is also used in "poop tubes" and other cleanup appliances. The overall height of the mat is 1/8 th of an inch and the depth of the groove is 1/16 th of an inch. "V" corrugation allows for easy cleaning.

Mat order
Great! The order came quickly and I just ran some cons from last summer. The deep v mat captured somewhere around 70 percent of the gold in the top tray of the cube. I'm gonna need to look at what you have for pumps... I'm going to need 2. Thanks for all your help.

low profile vs deep V
I added the low profile mat as an indicator mat above my combo dream mat. The gold gets stuck to it like a magnet...in fact it takes some effort to brush the gold up and out so I can keep using it for indication purposes. (not a bad problem to have :D ). Then I got the deep V mat for a home built gutter sluice (for which I'm still trying to find a good angle and flow). hind sight being 20/20 I do wish I had gon with the low profile as the deep V really loads up fast and doesnt ween to roil the material as much. in any event....2 huge thums up for that low profile V matting!
