Very easy to use. Does offer some discrimination and a display to show taget depth and metal type as we as soil mineralization. A great improvement over the older model of Goldbug
I used the detector in a park which has lots of beer caps and tabs. It handled the trash well. I was able to use disc mode to avoid junk and found a few coins. I used the 10" coil and have not had a chance to try the 5" coil to look for gold ye
Overall the detector is fun to use easy to operate,and very light at just over 2 pounds. A great detector!
