Note: As a result of the Multi-Flex coil technology, the Apex Raider coil is not compatible with older ACE detectors. Prior ACE coils are not compatible with an Apex detector.

Review of Garrett 8.5 x 6 Ripper search coil

This is a great small Ripper DD search coil for the Garrett Apex detector. The second day I had it I found a WWII German Military Marksmanship Badge buried about 4" deep. The only thing I wonder about is this coil was bought with the 8.5 x 11 large coil. They each came UPS as ordered. I then ordered the coil covers by UPS and they came to my P.O. Box at my Post Office ?? Just wondering.

Ace Apex “Raider” 8.5x11 coil

I have only been out with the new Raider coil a few times since I have received it, due to weather here in New England. However I have noticed since i switched coils from the stock Viper coil, I have been hitting much deeper targets with my Apex. In my opinion the Raider coil is an excellent option for the Apex and turns an Ace series detector into a Pro series detector. Thank you High Plains Prospectors for the quick shipping and customer service 🤙
