This is one of the most informative gold prospecting book available. It discusses all different types of prospecting (hard rock prospecting, placer gold prospecting, how to read a river for gold, and the equipment to find gold.
The book is good but color pictures would have helped in better representation of the ores, minerals, etc. Obviously more costly but I for one would be willing to pay more for that.
