great machine, but I’m in way over my head…
could use some tutorial videos; short, and very, very basic- starting out with instructions for simply turning the machine on and off, pairing headphones, coil, etc, and accessing the programs…

Like to thank High Plains Prospectors for getting me my new Deus so quickly absolutely love the XP Deus 2 Big improvement over the original Deus really like the weight and the build quality of XP and now that it's waterproof perfect I have had mine a little over a week and have 9 Silver's already that's pretty awesome to me

The new king of detectors

First off let me state and all of my detectors come from my planes there's no better place no better service anywhere period! I've been doing this a long time. 14 plus years I graduated from technetics to Garrett to minelab and the deus 1 now the Deus 2 and I can say in my experience this is the most amazing and dynamic detector I've used to date it is by far the deepest. And separates just as good if not better than the best separating detector on the planet the Deus 1! The new programs and dynamicness of having multi-frequency with XP DNA is going to keep this the king of the detectors for many many years to come XP not only supports their products with many updates they have a wonderful warranty and customer service program. This is an expert level detector it is going to take much time to learn and understand this detector fully and to unlock its full potential that being said this is also the best detector on the market right now and given the choices I have and have had I wouldn't swing anything else. There's a lot of hype on the internet wanting to attack this detector knowing that it was going to be the king don't believe what you hear come into High plains prospector test it out for yourself listen to The experts you can't go wrong!

Great Detector

First Great People at High Plains Prospectors - Highly Recommended!!! I have about 14 hours on this detector, and it does have a high learning curve. Great results so far - haven't strayed too far out of the default programs. Hunted with General/Gold Field/Fast with both the X/Y and Default screen. Locations were park and two early 1900's houses. First hunt diamond ring at park. Next relics dating from 1930's, 1901 Indian Head and 1941 Mercury Dime all on separate occasions along with abut 75 mixed coins with depths from 2 to 10+ inches. Pay attention to audio nuances as they will clue you in in to a lot ... still learning. Target ID is pretty consistent. No problem with battery level(s) without charging every time - can do two (or more) 4-5 hour days no problem (haven't pushed it beyond that without recharging). If it is there ... this machine will find it!!
