Nice product.

Fit and finish is good. Reduces weight by 4 oz. which may or may not be significant. Haven't been out to try with this pole as winter set in. Not sure why the one with some color is more other than marketing/profit. I'm fine with black as that is what the 800 came with.

Nice addition for the Equinox

Purchased this for my Equinox 600 and so glad I did. It is well constructed and light. I swing the 15” coil a lot in fields and the extra weight of that coil can be tough on the arm after a few hours but with the Detect-Ed carbon fiber shaft, the machine is lighter and I can swing it with much less strain on the arm. The wobble I’ve experienced with the stock shaft is gone as well. I would highly recommend it for those long hunts.

Not sure yet; only been out once since the purchase and instillation

Does not seem as light as advertised. Perhaps if we could buy a lighter arm rest to accompany it! Also, only one option to connect the arm rest; the original had a two hole option!
