Nice but cannot zoom out to see the whole coin, can only view closeup details which doesn't help. Also need some guidence since the instructions that came with it is made for an ant to read. Doesn't help me since I am over the hill so to speak.

Magnified Disappointment

I was excited when I saw the ad for the digital coin microscope. I had been using a hand held magnifying glass and wanted something easier to view my found coins. Ordering through High Plains was easy and the same day I received an email saying my purchase was already shipped out. Very nice. Tracking was easy and it arrived on time. My daughter and I unpacked the item and i read the instructions and was impressed on all the hi tec features it could do. We assembled it in no time at all and plugged it in to charge the rechargeable battery. A few hour later we grabbed our coin box and put one on the slide to see it clearly. As we were adjusting the focus wheel to get a clear image it snapped off after just a few turns. Very disappointing. Now it wont move up or down and we never did get a clear view of the coin. So I can't say how any of the features work . I will still be a customer with High Plans . There service was good. Look forward to ordering products down the road.
