The Big Orange magnet is a must for picking up magnetic black sand from your gold prospecting concentrates from your gold pan, dredge, or drywasher. Works wet or dry. Big Orange is so much easier to use than my homemade magnet for picking up the black sand. It wouldn't hurt if it was a bit stronger but I love it. So easy to use.
