Fascinating series of 5 maps showing gold and gem locations around Arizona, as well as historical maps with settlements dating back to 1868. The first map shows gems and minerals in the northwest, and early mineral locations around the state. The second map shows gold and gems in the northeast part of the state, and mineral districts in 1869. The third map shows gold and gems in the southwest part of the state, and town sites in 1886. The fourth map shows gold and gems in the southeastern part of the state and provides a history of mining in the state. The fifth map shows Arizona in 1881.
The maps and articles are good however I was disappointed of lack of detail. It is far more informative than what I did have. Thank you it shall be a helpful tool.
