Package contains 5 maps measuring 17.5" x 23" unfolded, printed on both sides and reproduced from authentic documents on file from resources such as National Archives, State Libraries and Geological & Mineral Reports. Maps show 100 years of reported gold occurrences along with gem deposits.

The first map shows gems and minerals in the northwest, and early mineral locations around the state. The second map shows gold and gems in the northeast part of the state, and mineral districts in 1869. The third map shows gold and gems in the southwest part of the state, and town sites in 1886. The fourth map shows gold and gems in the southeastern part of the state and provides a history of mining in the state. The fifth map shows Arizona in 1881.
