Product Information

The Pump Sock Pump Filter is designed to fit over most small water and bilge pumps, preventing the intake of large debris and thus protecting your pump. It is especially useful for recirculating systems in gold extraction operations. If the sock becomes clogged with debris, simply shut off your pump, take it out of the water, and use your hand to clear the sock for continued use. Pump not included.

Pump sock

It's a great thing for the pump to keep the junk away from your pump and stop it from over heating. I will be getting more from the store when I get my wife her nylon socks as they are the same.

Pump filter sock.

It's a great idea to keep the junk out of your pump and take the headache away from you. You are able to keep your pump running longer and not worry about it getting full of gunk and over heating. You could always use a pair of leggings from Walmart and get the job done as well and it's a bit cheaper, but it is up to you. I'm not putting the pump sock down, but it looks like the socks my wife gets from the store. I love it.
