Cleaning relics and coins is a tricky process.  Many coin enthusiasts are very skeptical on how us metal detectorists treat our coins.  The fact is that the great majority of the coins we find are in "dug" condition.  Meaning, from a numismatic perspective, they are rarely worth much over the value of their mineral content.  However, there is an occasion where you may find a coin of gold or silver that just needs a little cleanup.  In that case we provide numismatic approved solutions to help.  Sometimes we find a coin that has little to no value to anyone other than the person who dug it up.  In that case, sometimes we simply want to get it into a condition that makes us happy to look at the coin or just to simply be able to get the date off the coin.
