The prongs kept coming loose and finally the end cap nut was lost along with the compression spring. I removed the prongs, installed a lock nut backwards on the threaded shaft, reinstalled the prongs, installed a lock nut sandwiching the prongs between the lock nuts. Torque nuts.
Looks good, have not retried.
Needed a grappling hook to pull out the start of a beaver lodge in my pond. Works great and was sturdier than I expected. Very solid hook
Used it for capturing, dragging out debris in a pond from Hurricane Ian, worked great… until, Ooops, got stuck in under water branches. 😣
It does a good job
Well worth the money. My 20 year old son loves going out into the woods and has used it several times
