Man Finds Gold Ring in Yard Lost Almost 20 Years Ago!

Recently Donn M. of Kansas City recently visited our store for some help purchasing a new metal detector.  He was interested in getting into the hobby but had one main goal...to find a long lost wedding ring.  He shared his story with us shortly after his purchase.

Donn says:

"Just thought I'd let you know. I appreciated all the help you gave me with picking out and ordering my new Equinox 600 and Pro-find 35 pinpointer.  I've been practicing with them around the house since I picked them up last Saturday, a couple hours here and there.  They are perfect for my needs, simple to use, and very accurate.

As I mentioned to you in the store, one of the main reasons I wanted a metal detector was to find my lost wedding ring.  I lost it in my backyard almost 20 years ago and this afternoon I found it (see picture)!  I 've literally only used this detector for about 4 hours total over the last 3 days and I was able to find my 14k gold ring.  Amazing piece of equipment.  I would highly recommend your store and a Minelab detector to anyone looking to get started in this hobby.
