Best Fathers Day Gift Ideas - 2021

This year you might be scratching your head to try and determine what to get your dad, stepfather, grandfather, or for father's day. I mean, what do you get the guy that has everything? Is your father an outdoors type? Does he like hunting, fishing, or camping? Perhaps he is into history, antiques and collectibles, or perhaps he is into technology. Maybe he is just looking for a fun way to get outside and be active. If any of these interests are things your dad is interested in, we've got you covered.
There is one hobby (or sport as those if us in the industry call it) which has gained a lot of popularity over the past few years and it covers all the interests I mentioned above. It is especially interesting to people who are looking for a way to get outside, get some exercise, and intrigue their minds all at the same time.
The Nokta Makro Simplex Plus is a good quality, affordable metal detector.
The hobby I am referring to is metal detecting. Metal detecting is a fun and rewarding hobby that fulfills the desire to get outside with nature, engage in low impact exercise, and allows the detectorist to find valuables. These valuables come in the shape of modern coins, older precious metal coins (such as silver and gold), collectible coins, and interesting and valuable collectible antiques (such as revolutionary and civil war relics, artifacts, etc.) The cool thing about this hobby, unlike many others, is that it has the potential to pay off big time. In more ways than one.
Another cool thing about this hobby, is you can spend a little or as much as you want on ole pops. Metal detectors can run from a hundred bucks or so all the way up to $10,000. Suppose though you only have a few dollars to spend and he has interest in the hobby. You can always simply buy him a book on the subject. Perhaps he already has a metal detector and you are just looking for a good accessory to up his game. You might want to consider getting him a pinpointer or even a new digging spade or hand trowel.
A pinpointer is a priceless piece of equipment for a metal detectorist.
I can assure you that if your father is over 40, he has at least at one point in his life thought about the hobby of metal detecting. And, if given the chance, he will try it out. And, when he does, he will eventually find something valuable or interesting. Warning though. This has the potential spark a fire and create a metal detecting fanatic. Which, in comparison to other things a person can get immersed into, isn't such a bad thing.
