This sluice is designed to catch all sizes of gold. At the top of the sluice there is V-grooved indicator mat to help determine if there is gold in the material you ar running. haven't used it yet but was sad to see it was made in china. The angle of the riffles are all the same and need adjusting. I'll let you know, Hope the welds hold up

I like it so far. will be making some changes to it to fit my needs a little more. Nothing against it, I make changes to everything I buy. All in all a nice sluice.
