Shipping policy

Standard Order Shipping

Most orders over $125 will receive free shipping in the continental United States. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii may incur extra shipping charges. We do our best to get all shipments out same or next business day with inventory availability. Orders placed before 2pm CST typically fall in this category.  Orders placed after 2pm CST, will typically ship next day.   As we are located in the center of The United States, most orders will be delivered in approximately three business days.  Most larger items will ship via UPS or Fedex.  Smaller items will most likely ship via USPS.  We do our best to get packages to our customers via the quickest means possible.  When free shipping is offered, we will choose which service is best based on economics and speed.   Orders shipped with free shipping may or may not be insured at our discretion.  Insuring a package is the responsibility of the purchaser.  Orders over a certain value will be insured by the shipper at the shippers expense.  If you are concerned about porch theft in your area make sure you contact us to arrange shipping insurance at an additional cost should you so desire.  Otherwise make certain you select the Add Signature cost for $5 at checkout to require a signature for package delivery.  High Plains Prospectors will not be responsible for theft once the package is delivered.,

Special Order Shipping

In certain circumstances customers may desire to have their items expedited via next day air or overnight shipping.  In order to get expedited shipping, we recommend you call us at 888-236-6580 and discuss your circumstances with an associates.  Special Order Shipping may incur extra expense that will be passed along to the customer and may be billed separately than the original order.

Alaska and Hawaii Shipping

Because cost to ship items to Alaska and Hawaii varies, a shipping surcharge may be added. This is based on weight and size of item(s). Please contact us at (888)236-6580 if questions regarding your order.
