This sand scoop is strong enough for beach hunting. It has a fixed 36" long heavy style anodized aluminum handle that is bent at the top like a cane handle. The handle has a rubber grip for comfort. The aluminum bucket (.090 gauge aluminum) has 5/8" diameter holes punched into the sides and the back of the scoop. The bucket of the sand scoop is 5" in diameter by 7" long. There is an aluminum bracket welded to the bucket and handle for added strength. Overall length of this sand scoop is about 37" long. Made in the U.S.A. by Reilly's Treasured Gold. This scoop weighs less than 2 pounds. They offer a 90 day limited warranty against manufacturing defects on this scoop.
These are well built ! after looking it over I couldn't see any spots where this thing might wear out or break in the distant future from use .
They are a little pricey but these are the top of the line so you get peace of mind know this thing will probably outlive you ............

Initially I thought a bit pricey, but I am glad I made the purchase. I found the tool to be the right size, well built, and works as designed for beach hunting.
