Equinox 600 & 800 Folding Control Box Adapter

I have ordered several things from High Plains.
They are helpful, honest and deliver on their promises. I make an order and receive it in 2to 3 days. I will order from them when I need something.

Forget the home-brew 3D printed hinges - this one is night and day more robust and professional. I'm dinging it 1 star because of two minor things. Firstly, it's surprisingly heavy and, I'm guessing, unnecessarily so. Secondly, depending on how you hold your detector, the plastic flange near the open end of the adapter can rub on your pinky finger. It seems like this flange is bigger than it needs to be. Nitpicking aside, this is the one to get!

I was really surprised that it was not 3D printed but it was made from a mold. I really like it and it fits perfectly.

Great Sales And Shipping

Good quality, installed easily. Solid fit to shaft and control unit when closed. It will be interesting to see durability during transportation while the adapter is in the open position. The pivot points of the hinge may need some beefing up to make the design more robust. Overall I like it and it will make packing in luggage or backpack easier.
