Please Note: The 11" coil supports are designed for the old style 11" Equinox 600 and 800 coil.
Minelab has modified the 11" coil that ships with the Equinox 700 and 900, and the 11" coil support will not fit the EQUINOX 700 and EQUINOX 900 11" coil.
This coil support is designed to fit on you Equinox metal detector 6", 15," or 11” search coils. It is 3-D printed to be an exact fit. Designed to give your coil ears extra support to prevent them from breaking. This coil support is a great investment for protecting your expensive coil.
For an additional level of protection, we advise you to either zip tie support to coil at the groove on each side of the base of the support or apply a two-stage epoxy designed for use on plastic on the bottom of the coil support so it will adhere to the coil (gluing may void coil's warranty).

Great fit, much beefier than the ears. Could save some coil repair.
The question is why are the ears so thin to begin with?

Fit perfectly, I glued it on with JB plastic weld epoxy. I do regret not installing this on BEFORE the ears broke. I don't understand why Minelab could not fix there design flaw

Equinox coil support

Good product
I know using the coil protector is not a cure but I've had better luck with using the coil protector.
