Product Information

The Detect-Ed Alloy Arm Cuff is a high-quality CNC cut aluminum part, with smooth edges all round. It is designed primarily to replace the fragile plastic arm cuffs found on many metal detectors!

The cuff is designed to be ergonomic as it hugs the arm rather than the sloppier fit of most modern machines. The placement is not dictated by the holes on your shaft, allowing you to bolt it in your preferred position.

The arm strap points are lower than some standard cuffs meaning your arm is strapped down snugly in place rather than bouncing off the walls of the cuff.

This product comes with everything included to easily install it on your detector!

Fits on 7/8″ or 22mm diameter shaft.

*Max. forearm circumference for use with strap: 355mm / 14″ inches.

Great arm cuff, but...

The arm cuff works as designed (just like my Minelab arm cuff), but now I no longer have to be concerned about it breaking. However, the arm strap was defective (useless) because it was not sewn correctly. The folded back sewn "catch" on one end was not there to prevent the strap from slipping through the attachment point. High Plains replaced it with "some other" strap. Other than that, I recommend the arm cuff simply because of its durability.

Problem with nuts

The nuts used to assemble the Cuff are not a standard US size. Unfortunaely I lost 3 of them due to their small size and being non-magnetic. Fortunately I found the appropriate size in a local hardware store and was able to complete the assembly. I did use a small amount of Locktite to prevent loss due to wear and tear.
