This was the shovel I was looking for; I purchased another model that had a sharply curved blade--basically a half circle--and it wouldn't dig a clean hole. It always brought dirt up on the blade. The blade on this one has a slight inward slant, but you can slide it around in the soil to make a big plug and it comes out of the ground clean. Cuts through grass and smaller roots with no problem. Light weight.
