Minelab Metal Detectors is a worldwide leader in metal detector sales. Part of this is due to the rapid and ever improving technology put into their machines. Minelab has done an excellent job in providing customers a variety of options for their metal detectors when it comes to search coils.  For instance, for their Equinox Series metal detectors, they provide a 6" Smart Coil, the stock 11" Smart Coil, and the jumbo sized 15" smart coil. Each option can be used on the Equinox 600 or Equinox 800 metal detectors. 

All Minelab coils come stock with a search coil cover. This coil is to be left on during operation and will not affect the depth, sensitivity, or overall use of the metal detector.
