Mike E. from Kansas City recently cleaned up a couple tokens he found using our BU Plus Coin Solvent. Mike shares how he used the solution to resuscitate these old tokens.
"Here are some before and after cleaning pictures of some aluminum tokens that were a little roached due to decay. I used a small plastic or glass containers to place one token at a time in. Submerged it, let it sit for periods of about 5 minutes before checking on it each time. I used a discarded toothbrush - to brush each side every 5 minutes, a wooden toothpick - for a little more elbow grease on the tough areas, nitrile gloves, and a well ventilated area etc. I think they turned out pretty well considering the state of decay some of them were in. I will be putting a layer of Renaissance Wax on them to help keep them from the elements."
We really appreciate it when we get feed back on products. Having used this solvent before on various finds, I can vouch for the quality of this product. Below are some of the before and after pictures.

After Soaking and Cleaning Token Found Metal Detecting
Tis token is a copper penny surrounded with aluminum. You have to be real careful not to over do it on this type of token as the aluminum can be very frail.
Mike then used the same process to revive this aluminum Fidelity Trust bank token he found metal detecting in Kansas City. You got to admit, this stuff really does the trick.
Once again Mike, thanks for your feedback on this product. We really appreciate your input. Although it is not recommended using this on aluminum, Mike showed that with great care it can do wonders.
