All telescopic carbon stems come with a key to tighten the locking nuts when necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Kit also comes with 4 (extra) specially molded rubber rings to allow the use of CTX style thicker round rubber washer to help with over tightening problems of the coil bolt. All molded parts for better strength. This telescopic carbon stem weighs in at half a pound. Lower stem of the 3 part stem will always be black, the top two stems initially will be Red\/Black check pattern  or  alternatively the Matt Black check pattern.   We have been advised the colored
