Was so looking forward to this. I had saved for months to be able to buy it. When it arrived I tried it against coins, jewelry etc and it would NOT find gold period. My wife has hoops, non hoops and bracelets and rings all 18 and 22k stuff. no cheap things period. Even touching the gold items it would not find them. I finally had to fight with them to even get an acknowledgement that it has issues. Finally I was allowed to send it to the USA repair place..... (my cost) After a week or so they sent an email asking me which i used the hoop or the ground stick attachment. I answered back clearly that I USE BOTH EQUALLY.. They sent it back with only the stick attachment. When I asked them repeatedly about the loop front end they NEVER RESPONDED> I asked them a dozen times for weeks on end. SO I got screwed. Now, the end they did send... it is black instead of yellow.. no biggie IF IT WORKED>.. BUt even now, supposedly repaired, it still does not find hoops or rings. IF you have a chunk of gold (22k) it may find it IF YOU TOUCH IT ON THE END. The sides do not find anything and even my cheapy 30 dollar pointers find metals on teh tip and sides. I am very disappointed and feel I am stuck with a paperweight that I could not afford in the first place. Since they refuse to even respond.... Never again will I buy any nokta products. I must say, it is not this place that was the problem, in fact I ordered from kelly co... IT is nokta and their ONE REPAIR GUY IN THE USA.. I am only responding here so that you , the possible buyer can beware, no matter where you buy it. I am not alone here either... there are many just like me. Stuck .... Nokta... you should e ashamed you sell such crap.
